At times the approach of the cliff of the unknown can be predictable such as the deadline of a project or performance, knowing the last day of school, or leaving a job on one’s own terms. At other times the cliff edge may appear without warning, such as when someone sustains an injury, is let go from a job, or is left by a partner. Another situation when the What Now Experience emerges is when we consciously make the decision to expand our current abilities into our known possibilities and towards our unknown dormant potential.
The “What Now?” Growth Group is about asking “What Now?”, not to instantly hear an answer and move as quickly as possible to the next thing. This offering is about, as the poet David Whyte describes, being with the weighted silence that exists behind that question, and to sit with the sense of beautiful trepidation that something is about to happen. That’s why it’s 90- days, so there is enough time to be with the quest in questioning, for enough space to allow insights to emerge, and for answers that may not currently exist to form. We will use the Free Flow Primary Practice (presented in the Train Your Mind 21-Day Program) as a critical tool throughout the 90-Day process.
